Your pilot
You get a pilot the first time you play. There is no sign-up and no password.
Set your name on the PROFILE page in the hangar before you queue for anything. That name is what everyone else sees on the scoreboard and in the standings.
Your pilot carries your stats, your rating and your team. Your pilot number (the PILOT # on your STATS page) is how other people look you up.
On a headset today, your pilot lives with the app’s data. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data starts a new pilot. Linking your pilot to a Meta account, so it follows you, is on the roadmap.
Getting around
- Dash: aim where you want to go, hold, and release. Dashes are charges, and every kill refunds one.
- Rails: grab a rail and ride it. The payload cart’s route is a rail too.
- The hangar is the lobby. The big screen is the match board, where the room’s admin picks the map, the score target and the bots.
Connecting Discord
- In the headset: PROFILE → LINK DISCORD. A six-character code appears.
- In Discord:
/link <code>.
The PROFILE page then reads LINKED, and every bot command acts as your pilot. The code expires, and asking for a new one replaces the old one. To undo it, use /unlink in Discord or UNLINK on the PROFILE page.
Stats
The STATS chip in the hangar shows what you’ve actually done, filtered three ways:
- Mode: all, or one of the modes
- Map: all, or any map you’ve played
- Window: all time, 30 days or 7 days
For each slice you get matches, win rate, K / D / A, points per match, accuracy, damage per match, headshots and objective time. Numbers that mean nothing for the slice are hidden rather than shown as zero.
Points are the real scoreboard. They count damage you landed, objectives you pressed and headshots: the same number the in-match board ranks you by. A pilot who never tops the kill chart can easily top the points chart by pushing the cart.
Stats are only kept while you’re signed in to Nexus. If the STATS page says NO NEXUS IDENTITY, you’re playing offline and nothing is recorded.
