Hero Drop is a competitive game. Trash talk about the match is part of it. Making someone not want to come back is not. This code applies in the game, in voice chat, in the Hero Drop Discord, in the Nexus portal and in every league that runs on our servers.
Respect people
- No harassment, threats, stalking or targeted abuse.
- No hate speech or slurs, and no attacks on anyone’s race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or age.
- No sexual content, and nothing sexual directed at anyone. Hero Drop has younger players.
- Don’t share anyone’s personal information. That includes doxxing, real names they haven’t shared, and addresses.
- Mute, block and report beat escalating.
Play fair
- No cheats, hacks, modified clients, exploits you’re deliberately abusing, or macros that play for you.
- No boosting, win-trading, match-fixing or throwing matches.
- No playing on someone else’s pilot in Ranked or the Drop League, and no letting anyone play on yours.
- Found an exploit? Report it privately. Don’t publish how to do it.
Names, tags and logos
Pilot names, team names, tags and logos must not be offensive, impersonate anyone (including Hero Drop staff), or advertise anything. See the creator policy for what counts as advertising.
Voice chat
Voice is for the match. Don’t spam it, blast audio, or use it to do anything this code forbids.
Reporting
Report problems in the Hero Drop Discord with the pilot name, the time, and a clip or replay if you have one. Reports are confidential. We never tell a reported player who reported them.
What happens
Depending on how serious it is and whether it has happened before: a warning, a mute, removal from a match or a league, a temporary or permanent ban from online play, and removal from the Discord. Cheating in Ranked or the Drop League can also void results and reset ratings.
League operators enforce this code in their leagues, and we enforce it everywhere. [APPEALS PROCESS: how and where to appeal a decision].
